WHAT TO EXPECT

In this role, you will be based at our Bryan, TX location and will serve as a Breeder Manager / Hatchery Assistant for Hy-Line North America, LLC. Your main focus will be the overall management of the Texas breeder flocks, working with our contract growers, and also working and assisting in the hatchery with the critical processes involved with the hatching and processing requirements. In this critical role, you will work with diverse and multi-national Hy-Line team members focused on Hy-Line’s vision and values.

REQUIREMENTS

We’re seeking candidates with agricultural experience in breeder management and hatchery processes. Candidates must be reliable and team-focused. We strongly prefer candidates who understand what needs to be done as much as getting it done. Candidates with a proactive “doer” mindset will be given preference. We value growth potential and fit as much as formal experience and education. Experience in the agriculture industry is preferred but not required and bi-lingual would be a plus.

WHAT TO EXPECT

In this role, you will be based at our Goldfield, IA location and will serve as our Administrative Assistant for Hy-Line North America, LLC. Your focus will be to provide administrative support to Hy-Line North America, LLC’s Hatchery Manager and Location Manager. This important work involves a variety of areas from office organization, new hire orientation, payroll, accounts payable, to data entry and ordering of supplies.  In this critical role, you will work with diverse and multi-national Hy-Line team members focused on Hy-Line’s vision and values.

REQUIREMENTS

We’re seeking candidates with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration, or related field who has a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing administrative support with demonstrated success. An Accounting or Human Resources background is also helpful but not required. Candidates must be detailed and accurate. Must have knowledge in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational and computer skills, and the ability to work with people at all levels within the organization. We strongly prefer candidates who are bilingual speaking English and Spanish who understand what needs to be done as much as getting it done. Candidates with a proactive “doer” mindset will be given preference. We value growth potential and fit as much as formal experience and education. Experience in the agriculture industry is preferred but not required.
