WHAT TO EXPECT
In this role, you will be based at our Goldfield, IA location and will serve as our Location Manager for Hy- Line North America, LLC. Your focus will be on the overall management of people and processes at the Goldfield and Clarion locations. This position is required to work closely with the company’s resources to assure that all bio-security measures and production procedures are performed to company standards. All employees within the location report to the Location Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
We’re seeking candidates with a degree in poultry or animal sciences, or related field who has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience of increasing management responsibilities with demonstrated success. Candidates must have people management experience, a valid driver’s license, an understanding of DOT regulations, intermediate computer skills, the ability to learn new software programs, and be willing and able to travel. Candidates must also have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with people at all levels within the organization.
We strongly prefer candidates who are bilingual speaking English and Spanish and who understand what needs to be done as much as getting it done. Candidates with a proactive “doer” mindset will be given preference. We value growth potential and fit as much as formal experience and education. Experience in the agriculture industry is preferred but not required.

Hy-Line North America is looking to have someone join our team as a Hatchery Manager. In this role, you will be based out of our Jackson, MN location. You will be responsible for the overall management and day- to-day operations of the hatchery. The hatchery manager will be responsible for managing and mentoring employees and ensuring all operations are completed while maintaining the highest level of safety, animal welfare and biosecurity standards. You will oversee equipment, maintenance, and supply needs of the facility as well as coordinating the logistics of eggs/chicks.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates with a degree in Animal/Agricultural Science are preferred or four years of related experience. Management experience is preferred. Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required. You will work closely with Location Managers, Breeder Managers, and Compliance Managers to schedule and oversee crew and service work. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment for crew workers, follow up on biosecurity assessments with management and coordinate other needs with Flock Services.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have a valid Driver’s License with ability to tow a trailer. Must be able to work independently, communicate clearly, and have strong organizational and math skills. Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to bend, stoop, and lift 50 lbs. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Hy-Line North America is looking to have someone join our team as a Technical Services Veterinarian. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical service to customers and parent stock flocks in the areas of health, management, and welfare. You will provide routine monitoring and inspection of disease, status of flocks, auditing biosecurity and welfare procedures, and other internal duties to meet chick deliveries and egg export requirements. This role involves collaboration with various departments and divisions within Hy-Line and its customers.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from a recognized University and USDA Veterinary Accreditation. Candidates must have a minimum English Proficiency of Advanced Mid as defined in the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines. Candidates must also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must have proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and experience communicating and presenting ideas effectively at all levels within an organization. WHAT TO EXPECT
Your main focus will be loading product from Hy-Line facilities delivering and unloading to customers, having occasional team runs. You will be responsible for applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, area roads, and skills in maneuvering vehicles in varying situations and/or weather. You will be responsible to manage time to meet the delivery requirements and follow the direction of the customer to meet their expectations. Hy-Line North America is looking to have someone join our team as a full time Hatchery Maintenance Technician at our Spencer, IA location. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and repairing all hatchery equipment and mechanical systems within the building while following all biosecurity and animal welfare policies. You will work with the Hatchery Manager on maintenance schedules. Maintain inventory on parts and coordinate with the Hatchery Manager on purchasing parts and supplies. This role involves being able to respond to emergency alarms after hour and participating in a rotating on call schedule. In this role you must have the ability to lift and carry 80 lbs, must be able to work in varying environments, and must be able to be respirator certified.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates with a technical degree or certification from an accredited college/technical institute and a minimum of two years experience is preferred. Candidates must have a strong electrical background with experience in plumbing, HVAC, pneumatics and mechanical repairs. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Must have the ability to learn and utilize an internal database and internal company programs. Compensation is dependent on job skills and experience.
