COMMERCIAL DRIVER

This role is based out of our Burley, ID location. Details about this position include::

• Potential to earn an annual income from $100K-$120K with overtime potential
• Mon-Fri schedule with occasional weekend deliveries
• All time on the road is paid by the hour- including DOT required down time in the sleeper

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your main focus will be loading product from Hy-Line facilities, delivering and unloading to customers throughout the West Coast and Canada. You will be responsible for applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, area roads, and skills in maneuvering vehicles in varying situations and/or weather.

You will be responsible to manage your time to meet the delivery requirements and follow the direction of the customer to meet their expectations. In this critical role, you will work with other Hy-Line team members, focused on Hy-Line’s vision and values.

REQUIREMENTS

We’re seeking candidates with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). A valid Passport is preferred but not required for deliveries to Canada. Candidates must be able to operate company owned specialized tractor-trailers. Must be flexible as situations change based on customer needs, changes in schedule and weather. Ability to lift at least 35 lbs and operate electronic Logs (ELD). Candidates must not own or have any regular contact with any poultry or waterfowl. Compensation based on experience and qualifications.
