PULLET MANAGER

WHAT TO EXPECT

Hy-Line North America is looking to have someone join our team as the Pullet Manager/Flock Service for our Spencer, IA location but managing our Osage, IA location.  In this role, The Flock Service Manager oversees Hy-Line NA parent breeder flocks. The manager works closely with contract growers and layer cooperators to ensure that all biosecurity measures, husbandry, and welfare practices are performed to company standards to achieve optimal performance and production.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates with previous experience of four years equivalent professional experience or bachelor’s degree in agriculture-related field. Required to follow HLNA Bio-Security, Animal Care and Welfare Policies and HLNA SOPs, comply with OSHA regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Ability to learn and utilize the internal database and internal company programs, must be able to bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs, must be able to work in hot, cold dusty environment. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, communicate clearly in person and over the phone via email, and have good organizational skills, willingness to learn and continue education in job related fields.
